The Vintage and Handmade Wedding Fair - Review

Alright! I’m gettin’ down and dirty and telling you all about The Vintage and Handmade Bride’s Wedding Fair last Sunday!

It was great. Really. I had a total blast, for heaps of reasons. Firstly, I had my bestie Jade with me to help me out during the day – she was amazing. She called herself my intern. (Just between you and me, I brought her along because she’s super awesome and I figured all the brides and grooms in attendance would just fall in love with her immediately and book me because of her. She was my secret weapon.) The day was glorious – the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds were lit up in pretty sunlight like it was going out of fashion. We met so many wonderful brides and grooms-to-be – not to mention the other vendors who were showcasing! Everyone was just super lovely and I’d like to think that I made some new friends. :)

Here are some piccies for your viewing pleasure.

The guys from Holden Oldies parked one of their cars out the front like a total boss. It was awesome.

The gorgeous Jill from Retro in the Rough was showing off some of her fantastic hire-wares. You may remember Retro from this fantastic photo shoot.

I am IN LOVE with this wedding dress design from Silver Sixpence. It’s actually a top and a skirt! In a gorgeous blush pink colour. Could not love this more. Am considering having another wedding  just to wear this.

Check out this amazing lolly buffet set up from Perfectly Sweet! I don’t know how Alicia doesn’t eat them all herself, personally.

Downstairs a bunch of vendors had created a styled space – this was put together by Jill from Retro in the Rough and Nat from Heavenly Blooms.

And there you have it! It was such a fabulous day, I had a total blast. Thanks to Jade, the ever-amazing BLS intern; to Mel from The Vintage and Handmade Bride for putting on such a riotous shindig, to the other vendors who were so fun to hang out with and of COURSE, all the happening brides and grooms-to-be that I met!
